Work progressing on site of new hospital and healthcare facility - August 2017
Work is progressing at a fast rate on the site of the new hospital and healthcare facility. You can really see the shape taking place from these super aerial shots. You can now make out the foundations for the full circle of the building that will house the Out patients dept, Emergency Dept and Renal Dept on the ground floor and the inpatient wards on the first floor. You can also see the horseshoe shape where the GP practices will be on the ground floor and in patient areas on the second floor. There is also a good view of the new energy centre.
The work on site will become less obvious over the next few months as the steel work is completed and the block work starts.
