Waiting list validation

NHSScotland is using a new text message service to ensure our patient waiting lists are up to date and that patients still need their appointments or operations.

NHS Orkney patients who are waiting for an operation/and or outpatient appointment will receive a text message from the NHSScotland National Elective Coordination Unit (NECU) on mobile number 07860 039092 with a link to answer a couple of questions that will allow us to update our records.

While the majority of patients will receive a text message, some patients will receive a telephone call in Orkney.

More information about the Waiting List Validation service and further FAQs (listed below) can be found here: National Elective Coordination Unit | The national Centre fo (nhscfsd.co.uk)
