Flu Vaccination Programme for patients aged 60 - 64 years
We are now currently planning our phase two of the Flu Vaccination programme.
All patients aged 60-64 years who have not yet had a flu vaccine can now book an appointment to have this done, even if they would not normally be eligible for a vaccine.
Vaccination Clinics will be held on Saturday 12th December and Wednesday 16th December at the Kirkwall Vaccination Centre (old Health Centre, front car park on old Balfour Hospital site).
Our phone lines will be open 09:00 – 16:30 weekdays from Thursday 3rd December until Tuesday 15th December.
To book a vaccination appointment, eligible patients should phone 01856 888250.
Please note that patients registered with Stromness Surgery and the outer isles should phone their own practices from Thursday 3rd December to arrange their appointment.
Thank you to all our patients for their support to us over this year’s flu vaccine programme and we would strongly encourage anyone within this age group who has not yet had a vaccine to make an appointment to come and get this done.
