Radiology Walk in Service - suspension of service from Monday 23rd March 2020
In line with guidance from Scottish Government to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and to protect and safeguard patients and staff we are making changes to the ways in which we deliver our Radiology services.
We appreciate these measures may cause some anxiety and inconvenience, but this is a highly unusual situation.
Please note the walk-in service at The Balfour has been suspended until further notice. Whilst Radiology imaging services remain open (X-ray, CT and General Ultrasound) these are for urgent examinations requested from your GP and for patients who have been referred by the Emergency Department only.
If you have been referred for an urgent appointment you should report to central reception no more than 5 minutes before your appointment observing the government social distancing guidance.
When attending your appointment PLEASE ATTEND ALONE where possible unless you need support with mobility or other issues.
Following your appointment please leave immediately and return home.
If you are unable to attend your pre-arranged appointment please call us on 888274.
All non-urgent appointments will be dealt with when it is appropriate to do so.
Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
